Join us for a fun and engaging workshop where you will learn about Arts-Based Evaluation and how to plan and implement the arts-based method of collage.
Workshop Details
When: October 20th, 2026, from 10 am – 12 pm

Who is this for?
This workshop is perfect for anyone who identifies as an evaluator, researcher, data analyst, community engagement specialist, communication specialist, community organizer, or teaching artist. About the Facilitators:
Ava Yang-Lewis: Ava Yang-Lewis is Founder / Principal of ACT Research, a strategy, research, learning, and evaluation consultancy. She is a skilled evaluator and facilitator with 10+ years of experience helping organizations strengthen learning and evaluation through collaborative, stakeholder-centered approaches. As a certified LUMA Institute human-centered design practitioner, she enjoys using creative and participatory methods to spark reflection, deepen understanding, and turn insights into action.
Molly C. O’Connor: Molly is a queer facilitator, evaluator, artist, and community organizer who uses art to shape conversations with community partners, elicit their input, and infuse creativity and joy into the process. She is also the founder and owner of Coco Canary Consulting.
Molly and Ava have been teaching arts-based methods together for clients for the last few years, and are now bringing their workshop to the public!
Suggested Price Tiers:
- $500 (Full Price). Consider paying this amount if you can always afford your basic needs, you have expendable income (and/or access to professional development funds), and identify as middle class (i.e., your annual income and/or access to wealth is 75K – 150K).
- $300 (Reduced Price). Consider paying this amount if you cannot always afford your basic needs, you have little to some expendable income (and/or access to professional development funds), and identify as poor/working class (i.e., your annual income and/or access to wealth is 19K – 74K).
We will be offering two free, community-funded tickets for those who cannot afford this workshop. Please contact the organizer if you are interested in claiming one of these tickets.
